This year, Margarita Week has expanded its efforts outside of the rose city. Joining in on the fun is Seattle, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.
The original “Portland Margarita Week” was created in late 2020 in response to the pandemic’s effects on restaurants and bars. Creators of Margarita Week wanted to highlight local businesses and bring people back together after being a part for so long. The first two years, Portland Margarita Week raised nearly $20,000 for Team Brownsville and El Patajismo, two non-profits.
