The world’s tallest fork is being installed just outside of Portland!

A 37 foot tall stainless steel fork has been installed at the corner of Halsey Street and NE 223rd Ave in Fairview, a suburb of Portland. Gaining two feet over the the current record holder for “world’s tallest fork,” located in Springfield, Missouri, the new art installation in Fairview is expected to be recognized by Guinness World Records.

The fork is installed at the entrance of Fairview Food Plaza, a dining hall that will open later this April. The public plaza where the fork is installed is expected to be a destination for community events. The development will include a farmers market that will open at the end of June 2022.
